Sucking up to the Saudis

Reader comment on item: What Riyadh Buys [in Washington]

Submitted by Dave Bastyr (United States), Dec 12, 2002 at 20:27

There can be no doubt in anyone's mind that the executive branch of our government cozies up to the Saudis. Considering that most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis and that the Saudis provide much of the terrorist financing,in my opinion, Saudia Arabia should have been the number one target for retribution to 9/11 instead of Afghanistan or Iraq. It's hard for me to believe that the government is serious with its War on Terrorism as long as Saudis are ignored.
