We expected America to save and preserve this fine world

Reader comment on item: What Riyadh Buys [in Washington]

Submitted by Laxman (India), Oct 8, 2004 at 14:52

Hi,
I am from India. The implications of bribing Washington are enormous. If proper steps are not taken now this wonderful world of ours with its myriad diversities and hues would be back to the Middle Ages under a uncivilized BIGOTED, INTOLERANT monstrosity.

If the world's richest country, the US , is bribed like this, imagine the fate of other open societies like India. These goons have bribed the media, TV, airlines, ,many companies, many political parties including the now governing party here after our elections .

If America does not pull its act together the time to act may be gone forever...
