Free minds value the truthReader comment on item: What Riyadh Buys [in Washington] Submitted by Edward Cline (United States), Dec 14, 2002 at 11:17 Dear Mr. Pipes:Your postings are such a relief from the bland, truth-filtered news that I observe in newspapers and the media. Dr. Kissinger's resignation from the 9/11 investigation committee so soon after his appointment to it no doubt is connected to his own Saudi "connections." I expect you will be commenting at length on this episode in a future posting. More Americans should be grateful that you and your efforts here exist, and that there are more reliable sources of the news and the "news behind the news" than the smarmy, over-paid teleprompter readers (Jennings, Brokow, Rather and company) of the major networks and their affiliates. I just wish President Bush would sever his own Saudi connections, and then we'd see some action in the Middle East. But, I'm not holding my breath. Thanks again for your great work.
