When is the last time an Islamic country celebrated christmas?Reader comment on item: [The Need to Name and] Know Thy Terrorists Submitted by Hari Iyer (United States), Dec 3, 2002 at 15:17 When is the last time that President Bush received greetings or messages on Christmas or Good Friday? When did the Indian Prime Minister receive greetings or messages on Hindu Festivals or when did Mr Sharon receive greetings for Jewish holdiays from a leader representing an Islamic country?Islamic people are instructed not to greet other other people for their non-Muslim holidays. It is almost a taboo. However, what does the US postal service do in return? I recently saw a US postage stamp in celebration of "Eid" which is the Islamic equivalent of Christmas. Civilized nations haven't stopped pandering to Islam and Islamists. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
