The Battle of Badr Surah 8 ayah 65

This chapter is discussing a time when Muslims were being attacked and persecuted by the Pagan meccans of that time. This was originally an offensive fight but in this ayat God gave The prophet (saw) permission to fight defensively when they were being attacked in large numbers. People act like only muslims have fought but to bring up a text where it discusses needing to fight when the time is right i will bring up old testament.

Esther, her people had to fight and they killed the likes of 15,000 because they were being persecuted. And they had a blessing from God to do so. Not because they were better, not because the others were worthless but because they had to fight for their existence. No one who agrees with anything on this website gets mad when we as the U.S have to go on the offense in order maintain our security. People have a right to defend themselves. That is what Jihad is. Now people are doing things like blowing themselves up to kill others. i'm sorry but that is not Jihad. That is suicide.
