I don't get the people in here, Mr. Pipes.

I'M A MUSLIM AND I ADMIRE YOUR WORK AND YOUR EFFORTS TO DISTINGUISH "ISLAM" FROM "MILITANT ISLAM"--- AND THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, BY THE WAY, AND I THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THEM OUT.

THOSE POSTERS THAT COME HERE WANT US MUSLIMS TO HELP AMERICA OUT WITH ITS SECURITY, YET THEY VIEW ISLAM AS A "DANGEROUS CULT" AND AS A "THREAT" TO AMERICAN SECURITY;

WHAT ON EARTH DO THEY WANT?????? DO THEY WANT THE EXTINCTION OF 1.2 BILLION HUMAN BEINGS?????? IS THAT WHAT THEY WANT????????

WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR POSITION ON THIS??????

My position is that the problem today lies with a malign and extremist reading of Islam. To solve the problem, Islam needs to be modernized and moderated and we - the United States - willy-nilly have a role in that process.
