Many scholars believe that defeat of Arabs in 1967 war was a significant trigger of a subsequent Islamist "awakening". Others believe it was just an association, not causation.

What followed was strengthening movement of Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt 1970s, Iran revolution 1979; not to forget the uprising in Syria late 70's (which ended in city of Hama with government retaliation 1982).

Therefore, when anti-Jewish states are defeated, that does not necessarily translate into a defeat of Islamism as you are predicting. Defeat of Islamism depends in large part on muslims themselves. The vast majority of Islamism victims are Muslims.
