Are we ABI or ADATI, do we want only freedom FROM or also freedom To?

Reader comment on item: Trump: You Should Ban Islamists, Not Muslims
in response to reader comment: "Islamism" = "Islamic," and "Islamist" = "Muslim."

OK, understood. You see the distinction between Islamists and "normal, neutral" Muslims as non-valid and obfuscating + enhancing very much the danger/ threat to civilization.

But, if the whole of Islam then is a big danger/ threat, are we then only ABI-activists? ABI meaning Anything But Islam?

Or more than that? Like a beautiful, strong ADATI'-activists? Autonomous Democratic Alternative To Islam?

You see; there is a difference between Freedom From +Freedom To. Yes, we want freedom FROM Islam, but we also should want Freedom TO BE AUTONOMOUS + in a Democratic system.

You see, many people see Islam as a Negative Deviation from "normalcy". Hence they desire to reduce this Negative Deviation. But we can now see Autonomy & Democracy as Positive Exceptions to normalcy and we can promote THAT. Just like Muslims promote Islam. And then let the best ideology win!
