And what in your opinion would the US do if Turkey lost the war this time? Would the US -the god father of Turkey - consent to a Sèvres-style peace treaty whereby Turkey loses all its Eastern provinces, must give back to Armenia what it had robbed in 1920 and a free Kurdistan is created ? The second biggest NATO army seems to be a giant with feet of clay. It's very apt and experienced in perpetrating massacres and genocides and winning wars of aggression against smaller and defenceless populations as in Cyprus in 1974 or in Kurdistan. But otherwise what real military victories have the Turks won during the last three-four centuries? Both Gallipoli and Kut were great German victories and the rest is an tedious and endless list of Turkish defeats, retreats, capitulations, flights and withdrawals.
