Did Prophet Mohammad Exist ?

Reader comment on item: Who was the Prophet Muhammad?

It would seem that one reason the Islamic faith hides images of Muhammed is because he did not exist.
Muhammed is a made up person just as Jesus is. Islam is a fascist religion excluding 50% of people to start off ( the women.) You only have to look at the list of former muslims on wikipedia and you can see that the list includes some intelligent people who have obviously seen through the lies that their leaders preach.
It is a religion full of hate and the punishments they have for the people found guilty of "crime's" is just barbaric.
Islam is a religion of brainwashing you only have to look at the Islamic schools and see children being forced into learning the Qur'an. That would be the male children as apparently Islam does not like to have educated females.
