Which Muslim ruler invaded Indonesia and converted the biggest muslim nation?

Reader comment on item: Who was the Prophet Muhammad?

Submitted by Baki, Birmingham (United Kingdom), Feb 23, 2008 at 10:22

I read Daniel Pipes essay on Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him by Allah). It is in my opinion just creating a kind of dubious sense in the reader's mind. I should request the readers to read more on the prophet and not to limit to his essay only because it only gives rise of doubt to the first reader. As a Muslim, I can ascertain that the each and every event of prophet was recorded and with proper verification and many events, deeds are treated as sunnah in the vast practising muslim communities.

I observed here and elsewhere some comments that some non- Muslim brothers and sisters raised the point of coercive conversion into Islam. It is all but ignorance of the fact. I request to kindly make a thought on the following issues. Hope it will give you answer and wisdom.

1. Which muslim ruler invaded Malaysia, Indunesia and convert those nations to be muslim?

2. Muslims ruled 700 yrs in India, Why it has very poor percentage of muslims? In fact, we muslims in India were Dalits. Our ancestors were not allowed to many social and political rights.

3. Who coerces the new converts in Europe and America?

4. If islam allows muslims to convert forcefully and if muslim did so, why there are still christians who were perpetually there existed in almost all the countries of Middle East?

5. Also see how many persons were killed when prophet won the battle of Mecca?

In fact, Islam offers a code of life which is natural, coinciding with human nature, diversity and variety. It offers a great democray. See the Jamat of Muslim prayer. No difference between rich and poor, black and white, Indian and Arabic. All are equal. See the Fasting - same for all. See the Jakat system - a marvelous taxation system for the poor. See the Haj- greatest league of nations. It is indeed islamic beauty which attracts peoples all over the world. May Allah offer the readers to understand the truth.
