The 2 greatest wars which cost the most in terms of human lives, misery and destruction were World War 1 and World War 2... Islam had nothing to do with them. So how you conclude Islam is violent and the cause of violence all of the world is beyond me. You are naive to think that the trouble spots you have mentioned are about religion. Moreoever they are over national interests be they political, economic, strategic, etc.
