I see Islam strictly as a very violent and crisis prone religion. Checkout all the trouble spots around the world... Sudan, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the Middle East just name it. For non-Muslims it is even harder for them to understand why Islamic scholars sermonize about how peaceful Islam is and at the same time have these purely Islamic countries are constantly in trouble.
