Lieberman is denying the Palestinians their cherished underdog status

What Lieberman is doing is robbing the Palestinians of their underdog status by making them conform to the letter of agreements. By conceding points to them while they break agreements or give nothing in return tacitly communicates that Israel sees the Palestinians as the underdogs, and that garners them sympathy, but none for the Israelis.
