The era of intimidation is over.

I thought that the timing of Iieberman's announcing of a new Israel was perfect.We just heard Obama telling us of a new America so why not a new Israel? I am impressed with Lieberman's honesty and staightforwardness .I am delighted with his lack of intimidation by Obama's pushing for more and more concessions which ,in everyone's experience , brought nothing for Israel other than terror and isolation.

As for the road map- clearly Lieberman wants the Palestinians to start fulfilling their obligations .When and if that happens Israel will be able to see them as true partners for peace or at least for quiet co exsitance.

I am delighted with Lieberman's speech. Now the world sees why so many Israelis voted for him.The era of intimidation is over.The world will have to get used to a strong Israel- on the battle field and on the world's stage.
