Lieberman has the courage of changing the paradigm.

Reader comment on item: Avigdor Lieberman's Brilliant Debut

Most of the accords, road maps, international proposals did not work. After 60 years of empty talk Israel knows it. Even the Palestinians should have grasped the fact even if it is not in their favour. The two parts must sit together without the usual international busy-bodies. Israel´s people has voted for a change in the rules of the game. It is a sovereign choice.

Lieberman is the man that has the courage of speaking with his balls - pardon the expression-! In comparison with the "yes mam" and yes sir" policy Israel has shown during the Olmert-Livni administration Lieberman´s candour might be seen is diplomatic insolence. Probably that was what is needed. The Los Angeles Times is wrong of course.Lieberman has always accepted the idea of a Palestinian State, but in the form of an optimal and true "séparation de corps", a divorce, without moving people. Frankly speaking why should Umm el Fahm be part of Israel since it hates the Jewish State?
