Now, If Only Lieberman Can Keep Bibi From "Going Wobbly"!

Reader comment on item: Avigdor Lieberman's Brilliant Debut

This is an excellent distinction Lieberman has made. The novelty of Israel demanding quid pro quo is refreshing; we'll see whether this new government has the "panza" to hold fast to this position.

The idea of Livni "squirming in her seat" probably just means she had an unanswered potty call; if she's smart, she'll keep her mouth shut and see if she can get Israelis to forget how weak, horrible and dangerous her reign was.

I worry about SPeres and EBarak, each of whom has a long record of duplicitous undermining of sitting Conservative governments while abroad, and in the world press.

In addition to watching his back and cracking a whip, Bibi needs to be strong and resolute this time, or he will go down as the PM who "lost" Israel.
