suicide bombing immediately prior to release?

As I recall, there was a major suicide bombing of a bus killing and wounding many civilians just prior to this trade.

Postponing or cancelling the deal would have at least shown respect for the dead and injured victims of the "homicide bombing" (as it is more appropriately described) and might have given pause to those contemplating future bombings, in that their actions will continue to harm their Palestinian cohorts.
