Israel has no heart on this matter
Reader comment on item: Hezbollah's Victory, Israel's Decline

Submitted by Scot (United States), Feb 4, 2004 at 12:09

This is such a stupid thing to do because it only emboldens Israel s enemies. We are deeply disappointed and still very, very puzzled why Sharon has still not orded Arafat to be taken out like he should have along time ago. What is the diference between him and Saddam to begin with? And why is the spokesman of Hamas still alive who can still be seen on the 700 Club for crying out loud? I have lost faith and belief in both... Bush and Sharon. Shortly after 911 there was talk coming out of the current administration about using nuclear weapons.Well why the heck werent these things used then? Talk is cheap Pres Bush. As an American it has deeply bothered and puzzled me why the nation that was behind 911 has not paid a price in death and destruction the way this country did. There has been no consequences for Sauda Arabia. Riyadh ,Mecca and Medina should have been leveled the way Hiroshima and Nagasaki have been leveled for what happened inside this country on 911. Now onto the gutless man in Israel called Sharon. Sharon is gutless is because he won t order arafat to be killed. How many more homocide bombings and terrorist acts must be committed against Gods land before gutless Sharon comes to the conclusion that arafat must breath his last breath?Does Sharon have to be the victim of an assasins bullet to come to that conclusion? It was not enough for Rabin because arafat is still breathing. Why is bin laden and Saddam "touchables but arafat is a "untouchable"?

Ehud Olmert in the past year talked about going after arafat but nothing ever happened.I still can t understand why talk about it of bring it up and and not do a darned thing about it at all. Is Sharon afraid of what Bush will think? What business is it of Washingtons whether arafat is still alive or not?
Bush is a hypocrite because he did not hesitiate to go after Saddam or continue to pursue bin laden.
