koran is not flexible

Reader comment on item: Winston Churchill Compares "Mein Kampf" to the Koran
in response to reader comment: Islam, a flexible religion

Actually, the koran is not flexible.

Because mohammed said that the Bible was rewritten by Christians and Jews (I suppose to clarify why his versions of the stories were different from those in the Bible - without telling everyone he was illiterate and couldn't read/write) and that they would go to hades because of that. He told the muslims if they rewrite the koran then they will go to hades. This is why it has remained unchanged since it was compiled.

muslims follow the koran like mindless robots. If they didn't more of them would ask why would they want to follow a rapist, enslaver, thief, liar, torturer, and a murderer. (many details are in the hadiths too)

But, when muslims are confronted with what I just stated - they vehemently deny it, say that Mr. Spencer brainwashed me (I would rather be brainwashed by him than by their imams and mohammed!), or some such nonsense. Muslims do not question, they do nothing to change anything. If they do it is for us to read and for them to read the original (for fear of hades) and to appease us which is deception that is taught by mohammed. They are allowed to lie, via the koran, if they feel threatened by us. In this case, since we have been asking WHY!!?? They feel it is ok to write us a version, or give us only the peacefuly Meccan passages knowing that this is only for our consumption to shut us up.
