Reader comment on item: Winston Churchill Compares "Mein Kampf" to the Koran
in response to reader comment: Apt comparison

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Feb 25, 2008 at 21:14

Dear Vijay,

Because I haven't read the entire Koran or Mein Kampf" I used the word "disputable" in an attempt not to make a definite comment. If someday I have managed to read both all the way through, then I would be better able to state something with a stronger opinion.

I had a friend who condemned a certain film even though he hadn't seen it. My argument to him was how could he dispute it if he hadn't seen even one minute of it, and I had seen the entire film? I had the better argument, although it was only my opinion as most critiques are. A true critique can only be made if there has been thorough research. However, I suppose it is possible that Nazi ideology and radical Islam stemming from the Koran could be closely related.

Yours sincerely,

Rebecca
