Agree with Sully. Giving Kosovo independence also will just give the jihad a sovereign nation to set up their terrorists training camps. Why America always insists on saving the Muslims is a policy that we will just have to deal with in the future: i.e. Osama, Saddam, Norriega, the Fatah party, to name a few.

If you search Camp Bondsteele in Kosovo you may have one answer; it's all about the control of oil and a supply route from the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea. However, some oil companies drilling in the Caspian region came up dry at the most Caspian would only supply 2% of the world's oil.

The money it cost to build that military base could of went for drilling oil or coal mining in our own country.

CIA factbook that Serbia is 85% Serbian Orthodox Christianity, not including Catholic and other Christian faiths; I would think a long long time before I would send any American troops in there.
