Reader comment on item: Winston Churchill Compares "Mein Kampf" to the Koran
in response to reader comment: What part of Churchill's comparison do you object to, Dr. Pipes?

connecting between the top of the web-log to the bottom, "jihad" interprets suspiciously close to "my struggle". Winston Churchill was a close student of Islam during his years as a collonial officer. His observations of Islam were clearly enunciated in the begining of the 20th century. He foresaw the difficulties inherent to the Jewish National Home in post-ottoman Palestine, and partitioned it according to the ancient principle of the Hebrews: Those who crossed the Jordan river.

Had his solution been scrupulously adhered to, the whole Jewish Arab conflict might have been averted. It was not, the Muslims were encouraged to invade the Land of Israel west of the River, with predictable results: Rampant blood-shed. In the end Sir Winston will be proved correct. The Arabs will be forced to trasfer east, while the West remains firmly in jewish hands. it may take decades, but I suspect it may come much sooner, when the next holocaust hits Israel.
