What about Iran?Reader comment on item: [Saddam's] WMD Lies Submitted by Eliot I. Sakols (United States), Oct 7, 2003 at 22:16 Dear Daniel,What about Iran--I am fearful of the smug , fanatic , Muslim clerics and what they might do with a nuclear weapon. I read today of an announcement that they will continue with their uranium enrichment regardless of international and UN demands for transparency of their nuclear program. Since when does a country with such huge petroleum reserves need ""peaceful" nuclear power? Can anyone afford to wait for the predicted , but thus far repressed ,popular uprising of the new generation of young Iranians against the theocracy? Sincerely, Eliot I.
