Hitler vs. Stalin

Stalin made the outlandishly stupid mistake of trusting Hitler -- relying on the 1941 Munich mutual non-agression pact, even though he (Stalin) had no intention of honoring it any longer than he wanted to. As we know, millions of courageous Russian people fought the Wehrmacht to the death, wielding shovels and hoes; they had purposefully been disarmed by Stalin to ensure the safety of the Revolution!
