Was it really fantasy?Reader comment on item: [Saddam's] WMD Lies Submitted by Akemi Yoko (Japan), Oct 7, 2003 at 22:10 I am surprised by this insight of Daniel Pipes. I appreciate of his ability to analize it so clear through his historical point of view. It helps my understanding of recent Iraq War.At the same time, I just wondered why the US and UK goverments could not see it. I respect these countries and I believe they can judge their deeds better than others. If they feel something wrong with it, I wish I could see their sincere attitude. If WMD did not exist and it was fantasy, where is our righteousness to confirm sending the Japanese Self-Defence Forth to Iraq? I am sure President Bush is coming to Japan to make sure of their promise with Prime-minister Koisumi, which is apparently about sending the SDF of Japan. Isn't there any other solution? I have a dream that my country will never open the fire on any other nations forever and ever.
