Reader comment on item: [Iraqi] WMD Lies

Submitted by Darren (Australia), Oct 14, 2003 at 14:08

Daniel Pipes certainly does provide a helpful insight into Middle Eastern affairs. Even though this article provided quite an interesting perspective, I still find it to be a less than convincing explanation of the absence of WMD programs in Iraq. Whether there were WMD's in Iraq or not, I still believe Saddam Husseins hold on the country should have been relieved, at the very least because of humanitarian reasons. Additionally, a Middle East free of Saddam Hussein brightens the prospects for peace throughout the region.
