Saddams hidden WMDReader comment on item: [Saddam's] WMD Lies Submitted by Bernard Ross (United States), Oct 7, 2003 at 20:16 I am surprised by this sudden flurry of activity which seems to embrace the notion that Saddam had no WMD merely because they have not yet been found. Saddam has not been found yet either. ... It appears to me that a more sensible conclusion would be that they are well hidden.Debkafile, last february, wrote that there is strong evidence to suggest that Saddam paid Assad 35 million to hide them and that they have been hidden in 60 meter deep ditches in the Bekaa Valley. This seems like a much more sensible theory. In the Gulf war Saddam flew his air fleet to Iran, his erstwhile enemy, for safekeeping. During this war a fleet of Mirages were found buried in the western desert. Why wouldn't he do the same with the WMD?
