All international events could be better explained if they were presented on an accountant's ledger on a weekly basis. Otherwise all this ebbing and flowing of events makes no sense. People and countries act according to what is in their pockets or what they can expect to get in their pockets through more or less legitmate means. Deception and the poker game mentality, especially on who can rise the ante, play a minor role. The rest is all flim-flam. This applies to our relations with Israel.
