To those such as we read of here who think that anything human is a cause for promoting an Armageddon scenario in Israel, this is a great misunderstanding. To be sure, the age of the Christian influence - that Age of Grace, that era of hyper-Christianesque thinking that extracts Biblical passages from their context to promote some humanist philosophical influence on end-times circumstances - is coming to a close. If, in the Bible it is written that such things in the end of the age are going to happen (and they will), do not be misled into thinking that some human has designed the process or is going to bring about their fulfillment.

For a fact as well, there are world leaders, their bureaucratic cohorts, and the dark legion of shadowy minions who are moving about to bring about the supposed demised of Israel, some inadvertently, other with covert and overt malice (Do not want to be one of them!). Indeed, in that vein, there are those who believe it is a Christian responsibility or duty to bring about situations for the benefit of the Kingdom, an extreme example being the crusades. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Were that the truth, then Christ could very well have brought about the Kingdom when He was on earth the first time; remember His remonstration in saying that if need be, legions of angels were at His disposal. But that was not the plan. Neither is the Road Map to Peace.

In the alternative, salvation and redemption for all who believe in the Savior who returns is the plan, and it always has been. It is along the path offered by accepting Jesus Christ as Savior.

The Holy Scriptures are full of the promises to be delivered yet to Israel by her LORD, and no amount of scurrying and bullying and faux Christianesque empire building is going to get in His way. Do we who love Israel and the LORD God Almighty Who is her defender want to see that things that are yet to come befall Israel. Definitely we do not! Yet it is not our word at stake in its fulfillment, but the LORD's; and as He has said, His Word will not return to Him Void, but will accomplish His purposes, exactly as He has spoken it.
