Muslims are not the issue....Reader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools Submitted by DONVAN (United States), Aug 29, 2007 at 13:36 Islam is the issue. Most Moslems are well meaning and non violent but are as ignorant of Islamic dogma as many others. Islam forbids, on pain of death, moslems leaving Islam. This means that perhaps millions are ,in fact, trapped in Islam. If Islam were transparent, open and permitted the free access and egress then there would be little debate. Free people exercising their choice. This is not the case. Our concern is the Ideology, not the individuals. Islam is by pattern and practice, by dogma and canon, by actions and demonstration by far, the most dangerous ideology facing Western civilization. Because a small percentage of Moslems can, simply by following the accepted and recognized canon of Islam, in possession of powerful enough weapons, have the means, motive, and lacking only the opportunity to destroy entire nations. Many believe that Islam ,as practiced by the Taliban, Hamas, et al are exceptions and that the ideology does not advocate the destruction of non-Moslems. Those are wishes not evidenced in fact. Islam has been ,is now and will continue untill it is diminished to an inconsequencial belief system.
