Equal accessReader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools Submitted by Bob (United States), Nov 24, 2004 at 17:05 So long as Islam follows the guidelines of equal access given to other religions' organizations in regard to public schools (ex: allowing student-organized groups, permitting students to express their religious beliefs in a non-disruptive manner), I don't see how this is a threat to our values. Granted, these freedoms could be taken to an extreme and thus abuse the system; however, until that happens, I see no reason to presume them guilty until proven innocent.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
