Reader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools

Submitted by Patricia (United States), Mar 6, 2005 at 17:57

I just finished a university class on Religions of the Western World. Islam was a major part of this requierd course. The professor spent most of the course teaching about the wonders of Islam. He compared Islam to Christianity, but openly stated Islam was his preferred religion.I fought hard to have more of the Christian Doctrine explained, but it was a losing battle. If middle schools, and universities teach the glories of Islam, our children will truly be indoctrinated before they can make an educated decision about what this religion is really about.
It is time for Christians and Jews to stand up for our beliefs. We need to take back our schools before we lose our children
