Inconsistencies?

Reader comment on item: Spreading Islam in American Public Schools

Submitted by Jonathan Usher (United States), Nov 25, 2004 at 21:17

Is Daniel Pipes reversing himself? In his last article he talked about how moderate muslims are becoming more prevalent. Now he says that the Islamists are using public schools to try to teach our children to be Muslims. Surely it is the moderate Muslims who send their children to public schools. Therefore the Islamists must be using the "moderates" to do their work for them. Since the "moderates" are not stupid, they must be co-operating in this attempt to make the U.S. into a Muslim nation. So in practice there is little difference between an Islamist and a moderate. They are working together.
