in response to reader comment: Ahmad Tariq, I feel sorry for you!

Moshe,

We can go back and forth forever. The fact remains that you refuse to learn about what Islam truly is through its main sources- the Qur'an and the life of the Prophet Muhammad- and you contribute to the growing divide between religions and are a type of person who has given up peaceful means of approaching problems as you say that a harsh punishment is going to be meted out to not only the terrorists but peaceful Muslims worldwide. I hope that you can sleep with this thought, because my religion doesn't condone such hatred for any other religion's followers even if they defiled my religion in the most slanderous of ways.

The international community of Muslims to which I belong to has branched internationally to over 178 countries with more than tens of millions of adherents and the motto for our community "Love for all, hatred for none" has been our motto for over twenty years. Since our establishment in 1889 we have tried to setup continuous inter religious dialogue and have held many interfaith events to promote harmony amongst all religions.

Again I encourage everyone to learn about each others religions and adopt peace and tolerance for all faiths. I am not putting Islam over any other religion but I do think it deserves to be studied and seen for the peaceful religion it is. The message of Islam is there for you to study; you are judging a book by its cover when you refuse to actually learn about Islam and limit your understanding of Islam with the actions and ideologies of extremists.

I have made my point and have nothing else to say. All I can do is pray for guidance for all sides of this war of confusion. I have given you this website to learn about Islam, please check it out www.alislam.org. It was nice exchanging words with you.

God bless, and take care.
