the koran and islamists culture mess up something as wonderful as sex.

Reader comment on item: Female Desire and Islamic Trauma

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Aug 26, 2009 at 21:43

There is a total imbalance of power in islamic society. The koran and muhammed taught that woman have a profoundly lower value.

This has manifested itself into a culture of fear and repression. There is no normal type dating and romance in muslim communities. This translates into a loveless society. There are more wife beatings, child abuse and sexual attacks. In non-muslim countries like Sweden the number of muslims who rape non muslim white women is frightening. The silence from the muslims is sad...if you will please recall in Austrialia there were several gang rapes by muslim teens and they received long jail sentences, a muslims cleric blamed the girls, saying that it was like leaving meat out and a wild cat ate the meat ...you don't blame the cat. The muslims re-elected this guy to his high postion, no muslims said he was wrong.

Interesting, he compared the muslim teens to wild animals. Is he wrong ?
