Same way the word "SOCCER" comes up first in mind when you say Brazil, the thought of "SEX" comes first when Muslems think of the West. Mentioning US and Europe triggers thoughts of playboy magazine and sexual "promiscuity" to a lot of Muslems. I've known that from growing up in the Middle East. This article is an excellent piece of work, Dr. Pipes. Finally, I have faith in some westerners getting a better insight into the Muslem culture.
