Moshe,

We are all upset and angry about these problems in the world with not Muslims, but a group of people who have disguised their political objectives under religion. Islam is a religion of peace. Anyone who studies it can see that. However, by looking at the actions of terrorists no one learns anything about Islam.

How would a Christian feel if I judged his/her religion on the actions and ideologies of the Klu Klux Klan, Ted Kazynski, or Timothy Mcveigh without even glancing at the Bible. You continue to judge a religion by the actions of a few and not the actual religion itself through its holy scriptures. In that case you should correct yourself and direct your criticism at these few people who claim to be Muslims but are terrorists and their governments rather than a religion. If you study the religion you will see that what terrorists are doing is against Islam.

I agree with you 100% about the fact that the people who claim to be Muslim and do such horrific acts are the scum of the earth. Their actions which are totally against Islam make them non-Muslim. They are wrong in saying they are pure Muslims but they continue to disobey Islamic teachings. If you see someone who has a sickness and constantly claims to be healthy you will know yourself that he is lying to himself and the rest of the world in claiming that he is healthy. You would read the diagnosis of the doctor to see that he is sick. These people only 'claim' to be Muslim, but if they are disobeying direct orders of Islam, are they Muslim? Of course not. The Qur'an is like the report of the doctor, we should read it and see how these terrorists are incorrect in their claim to their actions being orchestrated by their faith.

Please refer to the website www.alislam.org for information about Jihad and proof of how Islam is a religion of peace.

God Bless you, and thank you for your kind words for this special holiday. I would also like to wish you a happy and peaceful new year.
