Detailed and to the Point - As always - But will the Jews, Israeli or not, Listen? - No!

Reader comment on item: Israel's Domestic Enemy

Dr Pipes:

We all commend you on picking these topics no other commentator - Jewish or non-Jewish is willing to mention in the mainstream Jewish press. They prefer to make their readers believe that Israel is today what it was 30 or 40 years ago. Frankly the typical Israeli wants to become a software programmer with an MBA and give more land away as long as it does not infringe upon his lifestyle.

Horrific is the degree to which this self hating leftist view has penetrated Israeli academia.

Talking to my Israeli clients residing in Canada, when we speak of Israel I am amazed at how liberal they are. I suppose they want to be liked and after reading Ha-Aretz and other left wing rags for years and listening to the Peace Now leaders, they think it is normal to be very liberal.

One time, I asked an Israeli how is it that Israel keeps trying to make peace with the Arabs, giving land away and negotiating the right to shared border patrol with palestinians.

Response? It's the Jewish thing to do!!.

Israelis have become a very liberal bunch, in general. They go on vacations to beaches in the Sinai and India while three Israeli soldiers are still missing. No word No news but the cars are full of babes and towels to the Sinai.

My how Israel has changed.

Thye have some karma coming. Hope not, but...
