Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Hello, and good day to all. This is my first visit to this site. I would like to comment regarding Sohail's post that Christianity contradicts Islam and Judaism, and that Mohammed was a prophet. First of all, the relationsihp between Christianity and Judaism is a very close one, and Christianity is a fulfillment of Judaism, not a contradiction. The Jews are looking for a Messiah, but He has already become a man, and still lives to this day. He is the creator. Regarding Mohammed, you can't proove his prophethood by simply stating "he is a prophet".

An argument based on internal evidence alone is no argument at all - it is an unfounded opinion. So, I would like a little more information on the proof of Mohammed's prophethood, if you would, please. Also, I am a little unclear as to what extent the faith of Islam embraces the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. I have seen the Hebrew Old Testament quoted on several Islamic web sites as supporting evidence, but do you discount some of it's content as false, and is it also the same with the New Testament? Thanks for your time!

Drew
