The only reason you believe the Quraan was never manipulated or corrupted by other human beings is because that's what you were taught. BY OTHER HUMANS !!!! Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't muhammed illiterate ? And if so how does an illiterate HUMAN write down anything if he can not read or write ? The only way I can think of is stories passed from one person to another. Ever heard of the phrase "fish stories" ?

And wasn't the Quraan created many years after muhammed's death ?

So come on give me a break. The Quraan is no more valid than any other religions holy books. Your explanation that the other books were corrupted by people (so you pay no attention to them) sounds like nothing more than an excuse to try and discredit the teachings of other religions.

Why does islam seem to be deeply rooted in a "Us against them mentality". Here's a better question - during Ramadan how do muslims in Alaska keep fasting during the day when part of their summer it's day light for weeks in a row with out the sun ever going down ? Wouldn't this be accounted for in the Quraan ? You know to keep muslims from starving to death ?

May peace be with you and all of the Lords children, no matter what religion they may claim.
