Dr Pipes
There is an article in the Daily Caller about Jesus of the Gospels and a Quranic "Prophet" called 'Essa or عيسى
http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/28/faith-file-no-the-muslim-jesus-is-not-even-close-to-the-jesus-of-the-bible/
And it is the latest in really poor and bogus Da'wa advanced in this case by a Palestinian American Muslim who should know better
1. Dear Christians: Do you know a man called عيسى or 'Essa? The answer is no
2. Is Jesus of the Gospels mother got pregnant when Allah blew his soul in her vagina? The answer is no
3. Is Jesus' grandfather a man by the name of Imran (of Surat 'Imran)? The answer is no
4. Is Aaron (the brother of Musa) the brother of Jesus', of the Gospels. mother? The answer is no
5. Did 'Essa or عيسى of the Qur'an die for 3 days? The answer is no
6. Was 'Essa or عيسى resurrected? The answer is no
7. Who is Ibn Ishaq's Munahemana or منحمانا of the Sira? He is for sure not 'Essa of the Qur'an Is he Muhammad? The answer is no
8. Was Jesus an Arabic speaker man? The answer is no Jesus of the Bible spoke Aramaic
9. Dear Christians: Is the Trinity (as we find in the Qur'an): Allah, 'Essa and Mariam? The answer is no
The truth is Jesus of the Gospels is not that 'Essa of the Qur'an
But most damaging to Mr Ra'fat al-Dajani's is his shameful translations he tells us that 'Essa is "the spirit from God (sic)" and the "word from/of God (sic)"
He is alluding to Surat al-Nisa' 171
انما المسيح عيسى ابن مريم رسول الله
Or: Truly al-Masih 'Essa the son of Mariam is the prophet of Allah
وكلمته القاها الى مريم وروح منه
And HIS WORD that he deposited in Mariam and a SOUL from him (Allah) (Remember Allah blew his soul in Mariam's vagina and she got pregnant)
Which really means that 'Essa is the WORD AND SOUL of Allah
And here is ibn Kathir's tafsir

My question to Mr Raf'at al-Dajani: Why the lies?
For the readers: For a change al-Mufasereen of the Qur'an never explained the etymology of this very strange word 'Essa and no Jesus of the Bible is not that 'Essa of the Qur'an
