Our dear Md is not aware that even al-Tabari had no clue what the word Kursi means and you know? Seriously?

Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?
in response to reader comment: Allah certifies believers!

For some reason every tablighee and his cousin is awe of the so called Ayat al-Kursi or Q2:255 so dear readers read and laugh and this is what our dear Md, who cannot speak read or write Arabic, wrote:

>His throne includes the heavens and the earth,
Literally, al-Kursi means the "Footstool",

Well, al-Tabari wrote: اختلف اهل التأويل في معنى الكرسي and this can be rendered as: al-Mufasereen disagreed about the meaning of the word Kursi!

I wonder why! I thought the Qur'an is kitab mubin or clear book! So who is the liar here?

What a disaster! They had no clue what the Qur'an is saying some 250-300 years after the death of Muhammad and now some Tablighee in India seems to know! Mashallah

But this did not stop al-Tabari from providing multiple meanings for the word Kursi as examples:

1. موضع القدمين or the place where you put your feet aka Footstool. But if this is what the author of the Qur'an meant and it is perfect Arabic why would he use a loan word from Syriac as you shall see below?

So tell us our dear Md why did your Allah not use موضع القدمين instead of Kursi and made it easy for everyone? Any guesses?

2. العرش نفسه or The Throne itself

So is it the throne or the footstool? And why would Allah need a footstool or a throne? Is he not supposed to be everywhere?

3. ليقعد عليه or (something) so He can sit on it. This means that Allah must have at least buttocks! We already know that Allah have shins! Now we can add buttocks!

4. هو علمه or it is his knowledge! Oh the flat earth and the sun rotating around the flat earth and the other scientific disasters in the Qur'an is his knowledge? Seriously?

5. اوتاد الارض or the pegs (of a tent) as in Allah's pegs so the earth would not shake!

In short they had no clue

The word Kursi is not an Arabic word. It is a Syriac word (BTW there is another Syriac word in this verse and it is al-Qayyom) and here is the word in Syriac: ܟܘܪܣܐ or Kursa and here is the Syriac dictionary:

http://www.assyrianlanguages.org/sureth/dosearch.php?searchkey=29923&language=id

And guess what the word means: It means Chair and Throne!

But again the worst enemies of Islam are your ignorant Mufasereen and you our dear Md is their victim

I will be waiting for your answer with great anticipation
