We cannot base the answer to this question on what the unholy koran offers because the unholy koran itself is false. There is no ancestry between Ishmael and Mahomet, the false prophet, but even if there were, according to the Bible clearly shows that Ishmael was born to Abram not Abraham, which means that Ishmael is not the promised child of God. Isaac, is called not only the promised child but the only child of Abraham, and Isaac is the forerunner of the miracle child Jesus Christ.

Ishmael was sent away with the slave woman Hagar. Ishmael never received a mandate to utter even one word in the Name of the God of Israel. He was destined to be a wild donkey of a man.

Jesus Christ says that salvation comes by the Jews, speaking of himself. Jesus Christ fulfilled over 350 Old Covenant prophecies.

Mahomet, the false prophet of Arabia, mereley entered the pagan pantheon of gods in the kaaba and selected the supreme god as the only God. This is akin to a Greek entering the pantheon of Greek gods and selecting only Zeus and destroying all other idols. Islam is mono-idolisitic not mono-theistic.

There are no prophecies in the bible that point to another prophet after Jesus Christ. In fact, we are told that the salvation plan of God is complete and available to all who call on the name of Jesus Christ.

Then comes along this new religion that claims to abrogate both judaism and christianity, whilst containing irrefutable blunders, and is mainly based on talmudic judaism of the babylonian pharisees, and therefore Islam is an old covenant religion.

The islamic claim on Abraham is surely a BIG LIE.
