Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Ibrahim Ibn Mohammed Ibn Ibrahim, Casablanca Morocco (Morocco), Jul 18, 2012 at 11:01

From Ibrahim Ibn Mohammed the servant ot Allah to Mr. Pipes Founder of www.danielpipes.org. The Peace be upon whomever follows the Guidance (Islam) and the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings (this is one of the 2 Islamic greetings).

1- As for Mr. Pipes's title, the word Allah is the name of the One and only God. As in the arabic dictionary, the word God is translated into Ilah (I wroted capital i and then a lowercased L followed by lowercased a and h) and there is no Allah in the arabic dictionary as it is just the God's name, this is further proven in the following Quran verse: He is Allah whom there is no God except He... (Surah/Chapter Al Hashr, Ayah/Verse 22 ). The arabic speaking Christians and Jews, when they say Allah, they say the name of the One God (excluding Jesus and Ezra), and the Christians and Jews that say God instead of Allah are say what He is, a Supreme Living Being. This is so you don't get confused, O readers and Mr. Pipes.

2- As for the paragraphs that talk about the Islamic Shahada/Declaration, the correct Islamic declaration is: Ashhaduana la Ilaha ila Allah wa asshaduana Mohammad arasul ul Allah/I bear witness there is no God except Allah and I bear witness Mohammad is the messenger of Allah. The latter declaration Mr. Pipes mentioned is wrong, and what Mr. Pipes said about the former declaration as making Muslims have a distinct lord is wrong. Again Allah is the name of God, and if Christianity and Judiasm say they are worshiping the One God (excluding Jesus and Ezra) then they say they are worshiping the same God of that of the Muslims, the God whose name goes by Allah, but Christains and Jews ultimately took out His Name (when they changed the Bible's texts and the Torah's texts proven in Islam) and so they forgot or don't use His Name. Former president Bush is, as he said initially in Mr. Pipes's article, in a way right here.

3- No, Mr. Pipes, Adam is the first human and first prophet and first muslim in Islam. Not Abraham, Abraham was a Muslim to come a long time after Adam. No, Mr. Pipes, Neither Jesus nor Moses introduced any wrong, surely they were one of the most eminent prophets of Allah, it was their people whom they were sent to, that changed the Holy texts these Muslim prophets gave. And so as Mr. Pipes correctly wrote, 'Islam views Judaism and Christianity as flawed versions of itself' gives sense here. Mohammed, the last prophet, brung his text, the Quran, which was different from the previous Holy texts as Allah made it immune to any changement in its text, as mentioned in the Quran itself.

4- Yes Mr. Pipes, a Jewish-Christian-Muslim trialogue could as well do something great. Mr. Pipes, Islam does never call to Terrorism, quickly you may understand when you click on the Islam against terrorism link on :www.fatwa-online.org. These terrorists are great murderers and are not muslims!!! Again Mr. Pipes, Islam calls for Muslims to be kind and lenient in all matters including when you speak about other religions or bringing people to Islam as mentioned in the Sunnah/Traditions of Islam. I am not sure if I understood you on "Supremacy", Mr. Pipes. Islam is, without doubt, the only correct religion, the most supreme religion, a religion of God, a religion if you drink beer, as it is an intoxicant, or have sex with someone whom is not your husband or wife, forbids you, a religion that forbids a person to have an arrogant or prideful character, a religion that gives you a prize from God if you smile at an ant.

It was a pleasure writing this, and I am proud everyone gives ears and eyes on the religion of God. Something cool by the way people, translation of Muslim=Surrenderer, understood as a surrenderer surrenders his wholeself to God, obeying him, etc... The Peace be upon whomever follows the Guidance and the Mercy of Allah and His Blessings.
