Something interesting.

I was on youtube.com where people can post video clips; I typed in muslim rituals or prayers, something to that effect. I see this video clip, each 30 some minutes from an imam reciting 'holy' prayers in mecca, saudi arabia.

For some reason, there was english captioning which I thought was interesting because the english translation of the quaran being recited verbatum was something like, "....women should keep their heads covered, only person who can see the women is their husband, parents, step sons, step daughters, father-in-law, brother and so forth, "....the next recititation, said something like, ...."who disobey by seeing women uncovered face life in hell engulfed by fire because...allah is all knowing and all understanding and so forth..."

the next quran couplet the imam read was about women, the next about women, the next about women.......This whole quran is all about subjugating a human gender to institutional discrimination and call it religion. It is mind boggling what is being passed out as Quran. By the way the imam(reciter) was monotonic in his voice and there were up and down in sound sometimes and you see all the people around him in robes and people facing him with their heads facing their hands, all looking serious...all listening to a sermon that is called quran recitation that is nothing more than imploring the rest of the muslims to subjugate women to second class citizenship and servitude.

By the way, on the subject of women ok to look, besides her relatives the subtitle said it was ok to look at 'slaves'. ....Slaves!!!!!, in this 21st century. My, My.....
