US-Israel/Iran-Palestine

Reader comment on item: Democrats, Republicans, and Israel
in response to reader comment: Israel's lurch to the left alienates Republicans and fails to endear them to Democratic conspiracy mongers

Regardless of who is in power the demos or the reps, Clinton or Bush, it does not matter at all. The bottom line is that the US political bipolarism (Non-pluralistic in my opinion) system will always be for Israel even if the cost will be the US vital, vested or national interest. On the other hand, in Iran, regadless who is in power, be it Khatami or Najad, Khomeini or Khamenei, Iran will support the palestinian Islamists even if the cost is it national interest. So that is clear and every body knows it. The ligitimate mind training questions one should think of are:

1- How long the USA will be helping Israel (not from a question of WILL, but from a question of ABILITY)?

2-What will happen when the US can no longer help?

3- How long can Iran continiue helping militant resistance, or terrorism you name it as you wish in face of Israel?

4-What will happen when Iran stops the moral support in the news and the armament and tech transfer under the table?

Let's assume the US stops helping Israel and Iran stops helping the Palestinians, you know what will happen??? something called PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST. Aren't these two states crazy?? absolutly yes, but the crazier state is the one that first got involved in the use of religion in politics of the modern era...the state that followed the pattern in 1979 is less to blame!
