Just wondering...

Reader comment on item: Democrats, Republicans, and Israel

Don't American Jews vote overwhelmingly Democratic? From what I've read, many American Jews actually oppose the State of Israel (the reason why is beyond me). So is there really a shift towards voting Republican among Jews in the U.S.?

The article didn't mention the Afro-American community... Since they're said to generally vote Democratic, are they also rather pro-Palestinian?

I am not arguing that everyone who votes Democratic is hostile to Israel, but that this point of view has gained ground in the Democratic party.
