Reader comment on item: Is Allah God?

Submitted by Anwar (Canada), May 22, 2006 at 16:35

Dear Kr

Not only I read the Quran, but also I read tafseer, lots of hadith, sira, etc

Here is what I saw in Quran, I found lots of anger, hatred, killing, sex, power, wealth, humanly awards, heaven is like a garden, rivers of honey, milk, sex in heaven, Allah is angry most of the time, he permits killing between those who created them, he likes some people better than others, he calls some people loosers, sometimes Allah is nice, he prefers Muhammad for some resaon, he permits Muhammad to marry who ever he wants, he denies Muhammad's wifes marriage after Muhammad's death, he stands beside Muhammad when his wifes were angry with Muhammad, Allah permits polygymy, he prefers men, men has more power and privilages, I also saw in the Quran lots of horror ugly stories, lots of contradictions. I didn't see a sequence of events, each verse has its own event, as if quran was made to certain era, Muhammad was not proactive, he created these verses to act on events, to justify his actions, and to escape from embarrasments.

I saw in the Quran a catalogog of bad and good behaviour, it is a manual on how to wash yourself, when to wash, when to have sex, how to eat, what to eat, what to say before and after you eat, what to say when you sneeze, how to great people.

I am sure you see something else in Quran, it all depends on your perspective and stnadard of beauty, peace, fairnes and love.

You are trained to see certain things, for you 1+1=2, this is not the case in this universe, 1+1 can mean so many different things for people who has open minds, who are creative, who think outside of the box, who don't have boundaries or limited capabilities.

Until you think outside of the box, unless you are capable of understanding of what unconditional love of GOD almighty to us means, then maybe you will recognize that GOD is not Allah who is in the Quran. and then you may recognize that trinity is a fact that may be extremely hard to understand but it is a fact.
