"In the final analysis, I don't really care whether my neighbor is a Jew, Christian, Muslim, atheist, pagan, Hindu, Zoroastrian, Buddhist, or Scientologist!! As Thomas Jefferson once stated, "It does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty Gods or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg."

I could not agree more Sidda. These are some of the wisest words I have read in ages. I do not care what religion anyone is so long as they do not try and force their beliefs on me. I am intelligent enough to research different religions, and if I were to come across one that worked for me, I am sure I would pursue it. Let's face it, these are not 'new' religions by any means. The literature is out there. Why must people continue to think it is their responsibility to convert others? Like I have stated before, I am pagan, and proud of it. My mother is Danish and she is Lutheran, my father was brought up Catholic and during his time as a soldier in Asia, converted to Buddism. It was what made sence to him during all his years spent there. Now he says he's Athiest. I think honestly he has just simply gotten fed up with all the violence and deaths worldwide in the name of different religions. With all I have learned over the years through documentaries like Science of the Bible and Mysteries of the Bible and through here, and the documentaries that have been showing quite a bit on Islam and what I have learned here, I know in my heart these are not for me. But like I have said before, I do not knock people for their beliefs..I just don't understand the killings going on because of these beliefs.

Look at Ireland, during the times of conversion, Ireland was the only European country to not have any bloodshed converting from paganism to Christianity. And how many deaths have occured between the Protestants and the Catholics..funny the 'heathen barbarians' spilled no blood but the 'civilized'...spill more blood than I would like to imagine.

That is what underlies this cartoon debacle. Do the Islamists have the right to impose their religious edicts or prohibitions on to people who do not share their beliefs? Not only in the area of drawing cartoons, but in other areas as well.

No they do not! How dare they think it is up to them to cause death over something so ridiculous?? Is that not 'playing god?'..Being a 'pagan witch' I laugh at the way the world depects witches. It is humourous..not offensive at all. And I would sell my soul to be able to 'poof' from one place to another..and fly a broomstick. The way we are depectied as having orgies and drinking blood of babies, the Evangelists are famous for how they portray us. Offended am I ? Not at all..I do feel sorry for someone to be so ignorant, but more sorry for the ignorant morons who believe the nonsense.

Not a drawing or photo or slander or word is justification for murder. Not even by barbarians And this is what the debate is about..cartoons and people feeling it is ok to kill and destroy property because of the cartoons. Not what book says what....let's get back to the real issues people.
